The Hand in Hand program allows us to build on our personal connection with sarcoma patients, in this case supporting their efforts to explore second opinions from physicians. Hand in Hand offers specific financial assistance for second opinion consultations by reimbursing expenses related to travel, phone bills, costs of the evaluation and other directly related charges. Grants up to $1,000 annually (per patient) are offered on a quarterly basis to qualified applicants. |

The mission of the Sarcoma Alliance Peer-to-Peer Network is to facilitate positive relationships between individuals affected by sarcoma so that they may find emotional support, encouragement and information. After you submit an online application and confidentiality agreement, a Sarcoma Alliance staff member will look for other members of the Network with whom you would be a good match.
