ABOUT THE EVENT

Why?
Firstly, to help Laetitia to continue to live among us through her work, to let her work and her story see the light of day and become better known, to answer her desire for cultivating differences, for accepting those differences, for working through memory, and showing what is left. Secondly, to help those who suffer from the same illness, whose lives have been impoverished, who have explored all possibilities, and are left in anguish after having exhausted the knowledge of the medical experts. What is Sarcoma Cancer?

Where?
The first exhibition will be held in Paris, France at the Cénac Fondation. The address: Galerie Marceau, Avenue Marceau, 75008 Paris, France, between the Champs Elysées and the 16th Arrondissement.

When?
From April 7th to April 30th 2005.

Who is behind this event and why?
Safran, LLC a design agency based in Chicago organized the entire event. Finding sponsors, selecting the right non-profit organization to receive the money and working closely with the photo team and Cénac Fondation to setup the entire exhibition. Jean-Laurent Vilon is the owner of Safran, LLC and wants to honor his sister's work one last time by raising money for people who suffer from the same illness as Laetitia Vilon.
