The mission of this art event has two goals. The first one is to celebrate the life of Laetitia Vilon who died in November 2002 from a sarcoma cancer. Celebrate her life by communicating her artisitic work to the public through an exhibition in Paris and Chicago. The second goal is to raise money to help the Sarcoma Alliance. This Non-Profit Organization helps people to fight and survive sarcoma cancer in the world today. At any one time there are approximately 50,000 people struggling with the disease. The mission of the Sarcoma Alliance - founded and managed by people with sarcoma and their caregivers - is to help people survive and live with this disease.

Laetitia Vilon died of this disease in November 2002. Five months earlier she had decided to work on a project with her brother. Together they designed and developed an art exhibition on the internet. This was supposed to be the first step of a long art venture. The second step was to organize an art event in Paris around “C’est Une Histoire”. Unfortunately life decided otherwise. Death is the only test that no one will ever fail, and who can speak of their own courage when that test comes calling?

She departed the 19th of November 2002 as elegantly as she had lived, leaving to themselves those who she had loved. Today many people in the art industry are joining this event to celebrate her work and help the Sarcoma Alliance.

Please help us and join us to raise money to fight cancer. You can make a donation on this website or you can contribute by buying one of Laetitia's photos at the exhibition in Paris, France. All the money collected will be given to the Sarcoma Alliance.
